WHAT MAKES THE CHISHOLMS IN STRATFORD SO SPECIAL

This historically designated Italianate house located at 310 Ontario Street in Stratford, was built for George B. Riddell, a railway engineer. It features many characteristics of the period — elegant principal rooms, a marble fireplace, sunny bay windows and a large, welcoming verandah. Tasteful renovations have brought the home into the 21st century. We are a short walk to the Festival Theatre, Patterson Theatre, Avon Theatre, and the pretty Avon River.
Each room has a beautiful ensuite bathroom, TV with ROKU or Chromecast, bar frig, complimentary coffee and tea, High-speed Wi-Fi access, and room controlled air-conditioning and hepa filter.

BREAKFAST is included, starting with a fruit course, followed by fresh baked scones or croissant and finishing with a hot entree. The breakfast is touted as the best ever by guests and in guest reviews.

a classy and romantic place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at The Chisholms in Stratford, and we highly recommend it to anyone who values beautiful architecture, antique interiors and fabulous and friendly service. Our room was very comfortable with all the amenities you'd expect from a first class establishment. The breakfast was delicious, and served on beautiful antique china in the dining room, which was crowned by a beautiful chandelier, one of many in the house. The Chisholms is a five minute walk to the Festival Theatre and the river and parks, and a seven minute walk into the town.

Relax with a drink on the gracious wrap-around porch and watch the world go by. Thank you to Heather for such a memorable stay in Stratford.
